Books make Mondays better! This week, I’m startin Books make Mondays better!

This week, I’m starting YESTERYEAR by Caro Claire Burke.

I was intrigued from the first moment I spotted it in my beloved BookPage magazine from my local library a few months ago and after hearing all the bookish buzz online, I am finally picking it up for myself.

Here’s the publisher’s blurb:

A traditional American woman, a “tradwife” influencer, suddenly awakens in the brutal reality of 1855—where she must unravel whether this living nightmare is an elaborate hoax, a twisted reality show, or something far more sinister in this sensational debut novel.

I won’t reveal what it is yet, but it fits my new one-word theme for July and I cannot wait to get started.
